The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cart Group, Nelson Cart, was received on the morning of Friday, January 30, in audience, by His Excellency the Provincial Governor of Zaire, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, as part of the strengthening of institutional cooperation and the promotion of private investment in the province.
The meeting made it possible to analyse the economic potential of Zaire, with emphasis on the sectors of agro-industry, commerce, logistics and manufacturing, strategic areas for the diversification of the provincial economy and in which the Cart Group has consolidated experience at national level.
During the audience, the Provincial Governor reiterated the importance of the active participation of the private sector in the economic and social development of the province, underlining the Provincial Government’s commitment to ensuring a stable, transparent and investment-friendly business environment.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Cart expressed interest in deepening the knowledge of the existing opportunities in Zaire, briefly presenting the projects developed in other regions of the country and the availability to evaluate future partnerships.
The hearing is part of the Zaire Provincial Government’s strategy to attract investment, diversify the economic base and promote job creation, contributing to the improvement of the population’s living conditions.
