Carrinho Group recently received the official visit of Mr. Troy Fitrell, a senior official of the United States Department of State for African Affairs. During the trip, the US delegation underlined the strategic importance of the Lobito Corridor as an axis of regional economic integration and promoter of solid partnerships between local and international companies.
The visit is part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between Angola and the United States of America in areas such as sustainable development, food security and inter-regional trade.
“From the farmer to the table,” said Troy Fitrell, stressing the importance of ensuring that the benefits of development actually reach local producers and farming communities.
In turn, this statement reflects the mission of the Carrinho Group: to strengthen the national agricultural value chain, placing the family farmer at the center of solutions for food security and economic growth. The Group’s commitment is to ensure that the products grown in Angola reach families with quality, regularity and efficiency.
The visit of the U.S. delegation is thus a recognition of the work being developed in Angola and a stimulus for the continuation of transformative partnerships, capable of boosting the country’s economic and social progress.
From the earth to the plate. From producer to consumer. From Angola to the world.
