Producer’s Day brings together more than 2 thousand farmers and reinforces that “the future comes from the field” in its first edition

On the 9th of August, the Vitória Farm, in the municipality of Bailundo, Huambo, hosted the 1st. edition of the Producer’s Day, a meeting that brought together more than 2 thousand producers from the family sector and which has established itself as one of the most relevant initiatives in the national agricultural calendar.

The event, promoted by Cart Agri, was a space for sharing, demonstrating and valuing the work developed in the field, with emphasis on the importance of mechanization, innovation and partnerships for the sustainable growth of the sector.

Reference companies and institutions present

Twenty-three companies exhibited products and services aimed at the agricultural sector, including Prosper First, Rainbow, IDA, Banco Keve, Banco de Comércio e Indústria (BCI), Banco Nacional de Angola (BNA), É Kwanza, Prest Agro, Fazenda Kambondo, Cart Indústria, LCL, VIVA Seguros and ZeemSeed, the latter from Zambia.

The program began in an impactful way with the intervention of the local producer, Miguel Tropa, who shared, in the first person, the expressive results obtained thanks to his participation in the Cart Agri Promotion Program, in order to inspire the audience with the testimony that “the future comes from the countryside”.

Then, the CEO of Cart Agri took the stage, accompanied by his team who, in addition to thanking the partner and the trust of the farmers present, spoke about the future, especially the strategy of compact blocks and mechanization. The stage also received high-level institutional interventions from the Bank of Commerce and Industry, the Institute of Agrarian Development and the National Bank of Angola.

Recognition of merit and sharing of experiences

In one of the most awaited moments, prizes in agricultural inputs were given to the three most successful local farmers, distinctions that were delivered by the hands of the technicians who have been following their work since the beginning, in the presence of the CEO of Cart Agri, David Maciel, and the Deputy CEO of the Cart Group, Rui Cart.

Visitors had the opportunity to attend practical demonstrations in the field and an exhibition of agricultural machinery. In this way, participants were able to have direct contact with innovative solutions to increase productivity and efficiency in the field.

With initiatives like this, Cart Agri reaffirms its role as a strategic partner of the Angolan family farmer that promotes the modernization and sustainability of the agricultural sector.
