The Future Comes from the Countryside: Huambo hosts Producer’s Day on August 9

On the 9th of August, through Cart Agri, the Cart Group will hold, in the province of Huambo, the first edition of the largest national event dedicated to the agricultural and livestock sector: the Producer’s Day.

More than a meeting, this will be a true tribute to the daily effort of those who feed the country: agricultural and livestock producers in the family sector. They are the living force of any economy. His dedication sustains the present and builds the future of Angola.

The event will have about 2 thousand participants, including producers from all over the national territory, government representatives, businessmen from the sector and strategic partners. It will be a unique opportunity to bring together those who do, invest and boost Angolan agriculture.

Throughout the Producer’s Day, participants will have contact with real testimonies of transformation in the field, practical actions, sharing of experiences and demonstrations in the field, focusing on technical solutions and innovations in the agricultural sector.

But the great moment of the journey will be the official presentation of Cart Agri’s development model, centered on the model producer. This model is the basis of the Agricultural Development Program that has been transforming national production. The 2030 Vision will also be presented, which aims to reach 2 million producers by 2030, from the more than 75 thousand producers already active in the program.

With an immersive program, which combines technique, inspiration, culture and proximity to communities, this first edition of Producer’s Day marks a new era for the agricultural development of our country.

Under the motto “The Future Comes from the Countryside”, the event was born to become a space to sow the future with those who already reap in the present by reinforcing confidence in the national potential and elevating the role of the family producer.
